William C. Reed was born on October 2, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, New York to William F. Reed and Irene Boice Reed. He passed away peacefully on August 28, 2016 in Fallbrook. He was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Michiko Putnam Reed and grandson Michael Palculich. After a long career in the Marine Corps he retired and was a resident of Fallbrook for the past 45 years. Bill continued to work many jobs in Fallbrook after his retirement. Bill leaves behind many friends and family, his two step-daughters Gina Putnam Palculich (Mick), Jean Putnam Busby Reeves (Cliff). He also leaves three grandchildren, Jean Palculich Bucher (Steve), Jeremy C. Busby (Noreen), Gina Busby Afenir (Tom) and four great-granddaughters. Graveside services will be on September 22, 2016 at 10:30 in Miramar National Cemetery where Bill will be laid to rest with full Military Honors.
