Wendy Murray of Fallbrook, CA passed away Wednesday, March 14 after a long battle with lung cancer. Wendy was born and raised in Southern California along with 4 brothers and sisters. She received her degree in accounting from Humboldt State University and landed her first job working for Arthur Anderson. After a good number of years there, with the company changing, Wendy found an opportunity to transfer her accounting skills to Southern California Edison where she remained until retirement. When Wendy retired, she moved to Fallbrook where she was actively involved in Newcomers, Uggs and Red Hats.
Wendy will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a person with a great sense of humor, always humbly self-deprecating and always generous. She loved watching golf, she knew the name of every movie and tv star that ever lived, and she adored everything giraffe and cats. Most of all, she loved and doted on her nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a tight family and very good friends – all with wonderful memories. She will be dearly missed.
The service will be held at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, March 26, 2019 at 11:00 followed by a celebration of life with family and friends.
