Wade Paul
Morgan Jr.
Jul 19, 1954 — May 4, 2023
Wade Paul Morgan Jr. passed away in his home on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 in Fallbrook, CA. He was born in Los Angeles, California to parents Mercedes Jimenez and Wade Paul Morgan Sr. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Basilia Morgan; three children, Wade Paul Morgan III(35), Wendy Morgan (33), Cindy Adams (33); and granddaughter Maribel Adams (2). He was a dedicated father who enjoyed watching his son's lacrosse games and daughters' sporting events.
Wade went to school at 135th Street Elementary School in Gardena, California where he met his best friend, Alex Estrada. Wade became close to Alex and the whole
Estrada family including George Estrada Sr., Maria Louise Estrada, George Estrada Jr., Tony Estrada, Gabriel Estrada, Raymond Estrada, and Gloria Estrada. Wade and Alex were in the same grade and were known to be fun and mischievous. They enjoyed being typical kids riding their bikes. Wade and Alex continued their close friendship for just over 50 years until Alex's passing in 2012. Wade and the whole Estrada family continued to remain very close.
In 1980, Wade met his wife, Basilia when she was living with the Corral family, Basilia moved back to Mexico soon after meeting Wade. Wade and Basilia kept in contact for 5 years until the passing of Wade's mother in 1985. Basilia traveled back to California to be with Wade that December. Two months later, they married in the courts on February 18, 1986 and by the church on October 4, 1986.
Wade showed his family the meaning of love by working tirelessly to provide his family with the opportunities in education that he or Basilia didn't have growing up. Wade made his wife and children lunches every day, showing his appreciation for the hard work each of them put in for themselves and family.
