Sarah Dorothy Allen, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Tri-Cities Hospital in Oceanside. She was born March 14, 1935 in Desha, Arkansas to Harry and Frances (Bell) McClendon. She married the love of her life James W. Allen after a whirlwind courtship on August 4th, 1956 in Yuma, Arizona.

They raised two daughters, Darla and Sandy, their son, James (deceased), and two grandchildren, Megan and John. For 12 years, Sarah worked for food services at Newbury Park High School. Sarah enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going on cruises and vacationing with her husband. A beautiful, wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a kind, sweet, generous and outgoing person who always took care of others needs before her own.

Sarah is survived by her husband, James, daughters Darla (Husband Jeff) Blace, Sandy (Husband Rob) Sewell, six grandchildren, Michael (Wife Kalin), Heather, Megan (Husband Dave), John, Shannon and Luke as well as three great grandchildren, Jayden, Madelynn and Kaitlynn.
