Ryan was born to Pamela (SCHMIDT) and John Wehking November 13, 1979. He resided in San Diego most of his life. He graduated from CORONADO High School and received his BA from Concordia, Bronxville, New York in 2003.

Ryan's enjoyment of technology led him to help many learn to enjoy it also. His favorite hobby was working with APPLE products.
Ryan developed a seizure disorder while in Graduate school at the University of Chicago.

Ryan loved traveling, having recently been to England, Italy, France, and Israel, and Oahu with his family.

Ryan died unexpectedly while visiting Northern California.
Ryan's Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 11,2019, @ 2PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1376 Felspar, Pacific Beach 92109.
