Robustiano Madriles Olivas passed away on March 18, 2026.
He was born on December 31, 1951, in San Gregorio de Bosos, Durango, Mexico, to Ramon and Cleotilde Olivas. In 1974, he made his home in Fallbrook, California, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community. He dedicated many years to his work at Olive Hill Greenhouses.
Robustiano was known for his warm heart and joyful spirit. He had a deep love for roosters and chickens, and an extraordinary gift for music. A talented accordion player, he brought life, laughter, and celebration wherever he played, leaving lasting memories with everyone who had the pleasure of hearing him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Nieves Olivas, and his daughters, Blanca, Irma, and Vanessa, who will miss him with all their hearts. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Emma, and Alexander, who brought him immense pride and joy.
A viewing will be held on April 9th from 4:00–8:00 PM at Berry Bell in Fallbrook. A Mass at St. Peter the Apostle will follow on April 10th at 11:00 AM, with burial at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, California at 12:30 PM.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
