Roberta Weber, 92, left this world on December 18, 2021 to be with her Heavenly Father.

Roberta was born in Nortonville, KY on September 28, 1929, the first of five siblings, to Charles F. and Doris O.  Ridlen.  They moved to Illinois where Roberta grew up and graduated from high school in 1947, an honor roll student.

After graduation, she was secretary at her home church in Decatur, Illinois.  Later, she accepted a position at a law firm in Northern Indiana.  While there, she was asked to interview with Charles V. Weber as his secretary in Anderson, Indiana, at the National Church of God headquarters.  She was hired and worked in that position for several years.

In 1955, Roberta married Charles (Chuck) Weber, here one and only true love.  They had a wonderful, loving marriage until his passing in 2004.

They loved "rock-hounding" ; collecting, polishing, faceting and making jewelry.  They were active members of the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral Society as well as the Oceanside Community Church of God, where Roberta served as secretary, and Chuck served as part time pastor for many years.  They loved their church and their church family.

Roberta was predeceased by her husband, Chuck, as mentioned earlier, as well as her stepchildren, Robert Weber(Dora), Phylis Mahaffey(Lloyd), and Charles Vance Weber Jr.(Ann).

Surviving her are her stepson, Donald R. Weber(Jacque), her brothers, Charles and Edward Ridlen(Sue Ann), sister Betty Feaster(Don), sister-in-law Susanne Ridlen, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Oceanside Community Church, 107 S. Clementine St., Oceanside, CA immediately following the regular 10:00 am service.
