Robert (Bob) Scofield passed peacefully at his Fallbrook residence on June 28, 2022. He was 93 years of age.
Born January 25, 1929 in Los Angeles to Bailey and Edith Scofield. The Scofield family moved to Fallbrook when Robert was one year old. They resided in the Fire Mountain area. Robert had many treasured memories of his childhood in Fallbrook and attended Maie Ellis Elementary and Potter Intermediate. The Scofield family re-located to San Clemente, Ca during his high school years, graduating from San Juan Capistrano High School. Robert was accepted at Cal Poly University @ San Luis Obispo but chose to enlist in the US Army. He served as a US Army Corporal and was stationed in Japan.
Robert was a proud member of the IBEW #441. He was a master electrician with over 72 years of membership. During his career he worked on many Orange County landmarks.. Disneyland, Angel Stadium, Knotts Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza and Leisure World. He enjoyed his work, his co-workers and the contributions made to his community.
Robert married his first wife, Patricia Jun, in 1950. They had a family of four children, Mary Lou Alcock, Peggy Partnoff (Bill), Carol Scofield (Brenda) and Richard Scofield.
After the passing of Patricia, Robert met and married his loving wife, Joanna Lee Anderson. He also added 3 more sons to his family, Ed Anderson (Stacy) Dan Anderson (Gail) and Curtis Anderson. Robert and Joanna are blessed with 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Robert was an active participant in Fallbrook's Main Street Tree Program as a tree caregiver. He enjoyed volunteering as a dog walker at the local animal shelter. Robert's life long love of dogs begin on his families Fallbrook ranch.
Robert was always working on a project! Creating wine barrel furniture, remodeling, gardening, internet researching. He was an accomplished photographer and was very skilled in black and white photos.
A Celebration of Robert's life will be held at a future date.
