Matt Yerke, a Huntington Beach native, was 44 years old when he left this world too soon. He had a good time working hard and playing hard. His hobbies included, but were not limited to, anything with wheels, wings and motors that went fast. His happy place was in the desert, camping with family and friends, making some noise and capturing it on camera. Matt worked for over 25 years in the sports entertainment field, primarily as an Audio Technician and was a beloved co-worker to many. He will be remembered for always being willing to help anyone, his quick wit and ability to make people smile. Matt loved life, his family, friends and pets. He is survived by his father, sister, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial will be held on May 13, 2020 in Fallbrook, CA. In leu of flowers, the family encourages donations to animal, open space, or your preferred charity.
