Obituary

Margaret (Margie) Dominguez, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the age of 84. Margie will be remembered for her selfless nature, engaging smile, and unwavering willingness to help others.

Margie grew up in Eagle Rock, Ca and married the boy next door, Bob.  Together, they shared 61 wonderful years. They cherished traveling, spending quality time with their children and grandchildren, playing cards with friends, and enjoying rounds of golf, but above all, relishing each other's company.

Margie graduated from LA County school of Nursing and dedicated over 40 years to the nursing profession. She began her career at Northridge Hospital and before moving to St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank. She began her career as a floor nurse but particularly enjoyed her years working with spinal cord patients. She concluded her career as a Case Manager.  An active member of the Burbank community, Margie did community volunteer work as a member of National Charity League and La Providencia Guild. She frequently served as room parent, team manager or activity coordinator for her daughter's activities.

Margie's friends admired her impeccable style and envied her talent for finding the best bargains. She took joy in dressing well and always kept her purse and lipstick close by, epitomizing beauty inside and out. Margie adored music, romantic comedies, and cooking for gatherings. Her favorite holiday was Christmas Eve. She warmly welcomed many family and friends into her home and after dinner would play Christmas song on the piano.

Margie is survived by her husband Bob, daughters, Kathi and Teresa, Son-in-laws Scott and Tim, grandchildren Travis, Kevin and Shawn and great-grandson Logan.  She was preceded in death by granddaughter Samantha.

Margie's compassionate nature and generous spirit coupled with her unwavering devotion to others will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A future memorial service is pending.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Foundation for Senior Care, 135 S Mission Rd, Fallbrook CA 92028.
