Lucia "Lucy" Maglieri of Fallbrook, beloved wife of Pietro "Peter" Maglieri, passed away Wednesday March 19th.  Born in Sicily, Italy she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Oliveri.  Lucy lived in Hartford, Ct. prior to moving to Fallbrook 38 years ago.  She was owner of Giovanni's Italian Restaurant in Fallbrook for 20 years.  Besides her husband of 43 years Lucy is survived by her son Peter Maglieri and his wife Carrie of Bakersfield and her daughter Diane Sant and her husband Adam of Playa Del Rey;  four grandchildren Peter and Sofia Maglieri, Milo and Gemma Sant, and her sister Caterina Close of Escondido as well as a large loving extended family and friends.  She was predeceased by her brother Benedetto Oliveri.

Viewing will be Wednesday March 26th, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.,  Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary, 333 North Vine St., Fallbrook.  Funeral service will be  Friday March 28th, 10 a.m., St. Francis Catholic Church, 525 West Vista Way, Vista.  Burial will follow at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery, 1177 Santa Margarita Fallbrook.
