Loretta Gosting (nee Jenkins)passed away peacefully at home after a hard fought battle with cancer. Loretta worked for the phone company for many years. She was a member of Christ the King Church in Fallbrook. There she enjoyed participating in the bell choir and bible study. She belonged to the PEO and Stitch & Give. She loved her community there. Loretta was an avid and very gifted quilter. Her friends and family all benefited from this hobby. Loretta had a passion for gardening and it showed in her beautiful gardens. Loretta is survived by her husband George, her siblings Howard Jenkins, Ronnie Baker, Anna Marie McGowan (Bob),MaryAnn McLaughlin, Judy D'Angelo (Sal), her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She will also be sorely missed by her best friend Mary. There will be a celebration of life at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Fallbrook on Saturday September 7th at 11:00 am, Followed by a light lunch. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Christ the King Church or the Fallbrook Pantry in Loretta's name would be appreciated.
