She was born to the late Charles and Marion Jenkins, July 26, 1942, in Flint Michigan. Linda graduated from Southwestern High School in 1960. She married the late Ross Allen Prior in 1963. Ross served in the United States Air Force, both living many places before settling together in Wasilla, Alaska in 1976.

Linda and Ross were business owners in Wasilla. They ran a successful hydraulic sales and service company. She retired in 2009 after the passing of her husband Ross. She moved to California in October of 2009 to live with her son and daughter in-law.

Linda is survived by: Her son Russell Prior and his wife Sandy, of Fallbrook, California.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Reins non-profit Therapeutic Riding Program in Fallbrook.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary.
