Obituary

Linda Elder was born August 14th 1936 in Los Angeles, California. In 1941 she moved to Arcadia, California. She attended Monrovia High School where she played tennis and was the editor of the school news paper. She graduated with honors before attending Stanford University. There she was the editor of the Stanford magazine and earned a Bachelor's Degree in English. She fell in love and married Donald Elder in 1958. She taught English for several years receiving tenure before starting a family. She had four children and enjoyed her membership at San Luis Rey Downs Tennis club before returning to work. She was the District Secretary at Fallbrook High School for 22 years. After retiring she enjoyed traveling. She went on many cruises and enjoyed her timeshares with her family. In 2005 she and her husband served a Temple Mission in Nauvoo, Illinois. They were faithful Temple workers in the San Diego Temple for 17 years. She enjoyed reading, shopping, playing cards, collecting succulents, eating at Casa de Bandini with Cuz, and Weidner's Nursery. She is a beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
