Obituary

Kirk A. Mallory, of Fallbrook, CA, passed away peacefully at home on March 21,
2018 after courageously battling lung cancer. Kirk confidently, boldly, and
reassuringly expressed his faith in God. He expressed that God had a plan and
purpose through this, whether to be healed or to be in Paradise.

Kirk lived Mathew 5:16 "In the same way, let your light shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven", as well
as John 8:12 & Romans 12:9-21. Kirk understood he was God's child and embraced
those promises. 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of
Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."

Kirk was born in Omaha Nebraska, attended Westside High School graduating in
1980. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 2 years but decided
to move to California. He met his wife, June, in 1991. They were married for
almost 26 years, living in Fallbrook for 22 years.

Kirk impacted and transformed people's lives. His humor and laughter filled
the room during visits with family and friends. His devotion to family and
friends extended into the Fallbrook community through church activities,
coaching Fallbrook Youth Baseball, and his work at Schmidt Fire Protection and
HCI. Kirk loved and delighted in home projects, including building a Koi pond
with a running stream, erecting shade arbors, gardening and planting.

Kirk is survived by his wife, June, 3 children Joshua, David (Nicole), Jacob
(Michelle); his 4 grandchildren Katie, Aiden, Amber and (newborn) Austin.
Kirk is survived by his father, Jerald (Merrie), mother Carol, sisters Kellie
(David), Beth (Doug) and brother Doug (Geri), and many nephews and nieces.
Kirk is survived by mother-in-law Virginia Shippey, and sisters-in-law, Jane
(Michael) & Jennifer (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.

Inturement will be held April 21st at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. A
Celebration of Life will be held May 5th at Christ the King Lutheran Church in
Fallbrook.
