Karren Royola Humphreys was born January 18, 1951 and passed into the hands of her God on June 22, 2013. Karren was a native of Carlsbad, California and a lifelong resident there. The sweetness of Karren will always be in our hearts; she had a good sense of humor and could always make us laugh.
Karren was an artist and created many wonderful paintings and drawings for her family over the years. Karren had an art studio in downtown Carlsbad and enjoyed her work there. Karren received an AA degree in Art and studied several years at SDSU.
Karren loved all of her family sending cards and letters, keeping in touch and filling all of our hearts with her love. Karren is survived by her brothers: Kenneth Humphreys, Carl Humphreys and Keith Humphreys, their wives and many nieces and nephews and their children.
Karren lived her life as a thoughtful, caring person, always cheerful, with a kind word and no complaints. We all loved Karren so; it is with great sorrow that Karren is gone from us. We are sure that Mom and Dad were there to welcome her home with open arms. In time we will all look forward to seeing Karren again.
