Sergeant Joseph Charles Wilson Jr. was born on March 29, 1986 at Sharps Memorial Hospital in San Diego California to Mrs. Joyce Geiger Army Ret, Mr. Joseph Wilson Sr. and stepfather Mr. David Geiger USMC Ret. He left his earthly body on December 6, 2014
Sergeant Joseph C. Wilson enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on March 2006. His career includes being a black belt instructor of Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, multiple combat deployments to include Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, (2) Marine Corps Good Conduct Medals, Multiple Letters of Appreciations, and certificate of commendation. He has been stationed in Okinawa Japan, MCAS Miramar and Camp Pendleton California.
Joseph is the epitome of a husband, father, son, sibling, friend and Marine. He leaves to cherish loving memories his parents, wife Deeanna Wilson, daughters Maiya G. Wilson and Marley J. Wilson, sisters Valire Tilman, Anita Mingo and Sonia Tilman, brother Kareem Tilman, nieces and nephews Devin, Portia, Laquanda, Keosha, Amun Ra, Tye, Ebony, Damurai, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends
