Jorge came from humble beginnings. He was born in Quitupan, Jalisco, Mexico, on May 19th 1961. He only ever attended the 6th grade, before having to work full time to help support his parents and siblings, as was tradition. He met, and married, his wife Gloria in the same small town he was born in. They would be married for 37 years until his unexpected passing. Their marriage was followed by the birth of their first son, also named Jorge, and quickly followed by his 2nd and 3rd sons, Gerardo and Jose. Jorge would travel to the United States to work and provide for his family while they continued to live in Mexico. He was eventually able to afford to bring his wife and first three children to the United States. Once in the United States he worked with a goal of providing his children, his 4th son, Rigo, would be born in the US, with a home and a goal of never having his family go hungry, and the desire that they could have a brighter future.
Jorge had many hobbies. His largest hobby was raising and breeding chickens as well as raising the family dogs. He had a natural love for animals since he was a young child. He would spend time, every day, ensuring his animals were well taken care of. His animals were like a 2nd family to him.
He was the type of grandfather that would feed the grandchildren bags and bags of chocolate, buy them pizza, toys, and otherwise spoil them to no end.
Jorge is survived by his wife, Gloria; his four sons, Jorge, Gerardo, Jose, Rigo; his four grandsons, Gerardo, Angel, Dominic, Alexander; and his parents, Pedro and Esthela. He is also survived by his siblings, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews.
