John "Bud" Crittenton Zayak born September 6, 1954, peacefully passed away in his sleep at home on July 15, 2022.

Bud was full of life and the rock of our family. As he would say, he had the gift of discernment. He loved his family and friends more than anything! Additionally, he loved his Rottweilers, Roxy & Raven. He would do anything for anyone and there is no one like him.

Bud was always planning our next adventure. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, boating, bicycle riding, concerts and music. For over 40 years, Bud was a passionate and hardworking contractor. His favorite projects throughout his career that he worked on were the Stratosphere and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and many historical buildings throughout the San Diego area.

Bud is survived by his loving wife Heddi, his children, John, Critt, Melody, and Romie, his stepson Eli and beloved grandchildren, Bud's siblings, Danny & (Elizabeth) of KY, Nancy & (Carl) of PA, Becky of KY Stephanie & (Jim) of OH, and Nieces & Nephews. All his family love him dearly. Proceeded in Death was Bud's parents Joseph & Joe Zayak and brother Robert.
