Jeffrey Wayne
Wilkerson
Jan 17, 1957 — Mar 4, 2025
Jeff Wilkerson, servant of God, a great man with a great heart whose desire it was to serve the Lord by serving others. Jeff joyfully used his talents as a chef to show the love of Christ. He was driven by a pure spirit that endeavored to bless others with his love, faith, and gifts to reap a harvest for the Kingdom. Jeff's kind heart, as immense and powerful as the man himself, was unstoppable. He was a faithful friend and family member, loving everyone, welcoming them into his home and inviting them to his table which abounded in great food, fellowship and friendship.
Jeff began a fulfilling and loving chapter of his life when he met his life partner and wife Lynette at a bible study. They went on their first date on January 17th, Jeff proposed on February 14th and they were married on April 6th – all in 2012. Focused on God, "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." This became the cornerstone of their relationship and the Lord blessed them mightily. Jeff is "absent from the body and present with the Lord", and he has never been so alive and healthy and happy! Jeff is survived by his wife, Lynette, his niece Crystal Wilkerson, and his grand-nieces Alexis Washburn and Marissa Gaddis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Chapel Fallbrook, date to be determined.
Do not mourn for Jeff – rejoice in the knowledge that he is at home with Jesus; he ran his race: "Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!" Matthew 25:23
