Jacob Michael Dudenhoeffer
December 21, 2002 – December 23, 2021
Born the evening of the Winter Solstice 2002, "Jake" Dudenhoeffer of Fallbrook California was taken too soon in a tragic car accident during the early morning hours of December 23rd 2021.
Jake is survived by his parents Jack and Peggy Dudenhoeffer, his brother Jordan, niece Phoenix and grandmother Barbara Finnigan. He also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, 30 first cousins along with many treasured friends and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Sir Dennis Finnigan Sr. and his grandparents Frank and Nina Dudenhoeffer.
Sports caught Jake's interest early on. He was an avid athlete excelling in baseball, football, karate (black belt), skateboarding, snowboarding and track, breaking a 24-year record in standing long jump at the Don Dornon games in 2014.
Jake loved to travel and made numerous trips to Cabo San Lucas with his extended family and friends for deep sea fishing, ATV rides on the beach and skateboarding at every park he could find. Portland, Oregon was also a frequent destination to visit the Finnigan side of the family for birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations.
Jake brought a huge smile and laughter and joy with him wherever he went and impacted so many people in his short life. He will be dearly missed but we will forever have him in our hearts.
