Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Guadalupe Rocha, was called home on June 27th, 2023, in Hemet, CA. She will be missed by her many friends and extensive family.

Guadalupe was born in San Julian, Jalisco, Mexico and was the second youngest of Vidal Ortiz and Amalia Gutierrez's large family. She lived there until she married our father Lauro Rocha on August 25, 1965. From that day on, San Julian would always hold a very special place in her heart.

Guadalupe lived her first years of married life and started her family in Tijuana, B.C. She later moved to Bonsall, CA where, with her husband, she raised all their kids and enjoyed their first grandkids. She later spent some time living in Fallbrook and Hemet, always remaining close to her family.

Guadalupe was a devoted wife and mother. She had an ease with making friends wherever she went and was notorious for her extra-long goodbyes. Whenever the opportunity presented itself where she could be of help, she would gladly step up to the call. She loved to sing and was her kids' first dance instructor. She always looked forward to travelling to her hometown to visit family and childhood friends.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and loving husband Lauro. She is survived by her two sons, four daughters, fifteen grandchildren, seven (soon to be 8) great-grandchildren, sisters, and brothers.

The Viewing Service will be held on July 23rd, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 24th at 1:15pm at the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, CA. The burial service will immediately follow the Mass.
