Erin Alayne Zeimis (née McManus) passed from this life into the presence of her loving Savior, Jesus, on December 17, 2017. She succumbed to Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. She was in the Wheaton class of 1983 as a Languages major. Erin was a godly wife, successful mother and homeschool teacher of 3 wonderful children. Several people are followers of Jesus because God used Erin to lead them to saving faith in the Gospel. Erin worked in a Crisis Pregnancy Center and at least 3 individuals were given the gift of life because God used her to encourage the women to choose life and not abortion. Erin was an outspoken advocate for the unborn and a Speaker at Pro-Life events. Erin taught Woman's Bible Studies at every church she belonged. She was an encourager of women in their difficult work of being wives and mothers. Erin helped many get started and grow confident in homeschooling their children. Erin is survived by her husband of 32 years Vince, children Benjamin, Kathryn and Abigail as well as her brother Jim and her father James Edward McManus of the Wheaton class of 1953.
