Diane Foust (nee Fitzroy) March 13, 1945 - October 29, 2024Diane passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 79 in Fallbrook California with her daughters by her side. Diane was born in Corpus Christi Texas on March 13, 1945 to Richard Fitzroy and Billie Jean Martin. when Diane was 5 years old the family moved to Oceanside California. Diane enjoyed growing up in Oceanside and had many lifelong friends that started out as schoolmates. Diane met Roy Foust at Oceanside High School and they married when Roy joined the Air Force after graduation. they spent part of their first year in Biloxi Ms while Roy was in boot camp and then returned to California when Roy was stationed at Vandenberg AFB. They made Oceanside their home. Their first daughter Tammy was born in 1961 with Tracy following in 1963 and Tora in 1964. When the girls were in elementary school Diane worked as an aide at the school that they attended. In 1972 the family moved to the Fire Mountain area of Oceanside so Diane relocated to Lincoln Jr High School where she successfully established the Math Lab and later the Computer Lab that she ran for many years. Diane retired from the Oceanside Unified School District in 2002. Roy had also worked for the school district which gave them the opportunity to do some world travels during school breaks. They loved going on ocean cruises and traveling in the RV. After retiring they would spend late spring to early fall in South Lake Tahoe where they enjoyed camp hosting duties at various campgrounds in that area. Diane enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting and school events. She loved her pets as well. She also really enjoyed her annual ladies trips to Las Vegas.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband Roy and her parents Richard Fitzroy, Billie Jean Martin and Dode Martin and also very dear friends Jackie Willey and Allyson Pud Cotton.

She is survived by her three daughters Tammy (Paul) Simpson, Tracy (Scott) Rogers, Tora (Mark) Schilling, three grand children Shaun Simpson, Samantha Simpson, Kyle (Emily) Schilling and two great grand children Aubree Schilling and Brielle Schilling.

A private interment was held.

A celebration of life will be held on December 14, 2024 at 12 noon at 127 West Social House  - 127 West Elder St Fallbrook Ca
