David Bruce Riddle, born in San Gabriel, California, December 4, 1953, passed away on February 1, 2020 from complications related to diabetes, a stroke and a throat tumor.

David's parents were immigrants from Cornwall, England. He graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1972 and went to Hancock College in Santa Maria for two years. He and his mother moved to San Marcos in 1980. David was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a dedicated employee at Sherline Products in Vista for over 25 years. David enjoyed building personal computers for friends and family. He loved cats, classic car shows, movies and music.

He is survived by his brother Will, nephews Tracy Riddle and John Hobbs, and niece Debbie Haines. He was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Hobbs, niece Cindy Hobbs, mother Jane and father Percy.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an animal rescue group in his memory.
