Daniel "Danny" Hulbert, age 52, died at his home in Escondido on September 12, 2015. He lived in Escondido from the age of 5, when his family moved here from Vista. He graduated from Escondido High, attended Palomar College and became proficient in auto mechanics.

Daniel studied violin and other stringed instruments as a child, and that passion stayed with him throughout his life. He played guitar and sang in many locations in North County.

Daniel was a friendly and generous person and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by three sisters, two nieces, two nephews and a devoted companion. A memorial gathering is planned on October 10, 2015, at 1:00pm, at the Five Points Sports Bar, 1881 S Escondido Blvd, Escondido, CA. 92025
