Charles Caricato, aka Chuck Carr, 87, of San Diego, and more recently of Fallbrook, passed away on March 17, 2019.

Charles was born in Pennsylvania.  He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Business with a minor in Psychology. He later moved to California, where he worked for Arthur Murray Dance Studios, eventually owning Four Arthur Murray Dance Studios and Two Gloria Marshall Studios. He was the Arthur Murray area director of California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada.
Chuck was a good man, and hard working. He was ambitious and goal oriented. He enjoyed life, dancing, golfing, theater and traveling.

Charles was husband to Yoni Caricato and together they would have celebrated 30 years of marriage this year. He was father to Chris Caricato, Tiffany Licata, the late Charles Caricato lll. and the late Charlene White, and stepfather to Tiffany Brown. He was grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He is already deeply missed by all. May he rest in peace.

In Lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Chuck can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Foundation .

There will be a funeral service on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Berry-Bell and Hall Fallbrook Mortuary, followed by a graveside service at Greenwood memorial Park in San Diego at 1:30 pm.

A separate memorial with the dance community will be held at a later date, which will be posted.
