It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Toledo, who entered Eternal life on Monday, November 6th, 2023. Carlos was born on April 5th, 1961 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and immigrated to New York at the young age of four. He was a longtime resident of Fallbrook, where he and his wife Ana managed apartments and helped many people. Carlos was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in the National Guard. In 2008, he volunteered as a civilian in Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving a total of 5 years in the Middle East. For many years, he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at Camp Pendleton. Carlos is survived by his daughter, Ashley Toledo, his ex-wife Ana Toledo, adopted daughter Sonia Villegas, sisters Lu, Maritza, and Vivi, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Carlos was a ray of sunshine in the lives of many; he was always generous in helping others, and his infectious laughter could light up the room. He will be missed dearly.
