Obituary

With family and friends by his side, Calvin Cernansky ended his recent battle with Pancreatic Cancer on August 6th, 2017.
Born in Chicago, IL on March 8, 1947, he came to California as a two year old. After growing up in Gardena, CA with his three brothers and three sisters, He married Sandra (Roncoroni) and together they raised their two boys in Yorba Linda, CA. He then moved his family to Pauma Valley where they happily resided for 30 years.
Cal proudly served our nation in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a builder at heart. He built boats, spas, and anything else his friends and family could dream up. Cal was employed by Vessel's Stallion Farm and then Camp Pendleton until he retired in 2013. His passions were his grandchildren and family first, his model trains, and Nascar.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandy; sons and daughter-in-laws, Stephen and Wendy, and Richard and Corie; and the lights of his life, his grandchildren Jeremy and Hannah, and step-grandson Evan.
A celebration of his life will be held for family and close friends.
