Aileen Kathryn (Halton) Sheppard passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022.

Aileen was the daughter of Mary and James Halton and sister to 5 siblings.  She grew up in Ontario, Canada where she met and married the love of her life, David Sheppard. They were married nearly 73 years. In 1955 they moved to Torrance, California where they raised their children. Aileen and Dave retired to Fallbrook, California 33 years ago.  They have been active members of the community and dedicated parishioners of St. Peter the Apostle Church.

Aileen was a college graduate and a talented artist and poet, mother of 8 and their spouses, grandmother to 14 and great-grandmother to 17.  Family was her  hallmark, but she also touched the lives of so many with her endearing spirit, strong faith, beauty and grace.  She will be missed.  Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15th, from 4-8:00 p.m. at Fallbrook's Berry-Bell & Hall mortuary.  St. Peter's mass in Fallbrook will be held in her honor on the 16th at 11:00 a.m. with a reception following on site.  All who knew her are welcome to attend.
