Spenc loved CA. His favorite area was the Sierra Nevada mountains where he enjoyed camping, hiking, fly fishing, and horse back riding. He became an Eagle Boy Scout at 18.
As a sportsman he enjoyed hunting, dove, quail, rabbit, and ducks. Attending the annual
Mammoth Jazz Festival in the Sierras with Larry was always a top priority for him.
As a worldly traveler he visited to many places in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, Bermuda, China, Japan, and was able to see all the states and capitals in the USA. Spenc was a big believer in a man's good character, strong values, setting goals, planning, and loving unconditionally. To this day no one has ever heard him swear. There were very few things that he did not like. He had patience, knowledge, and knew the need for exploring new technologies. Spenc worked hard to understand others, their needs, and how he could help out. Being shaped and molded from 101 years of history, he always made it a goal to go to new places and make new friends and community connections. A goal which helped him through over 18 corporate career moves. Spenc, what a man; father, mentor, leader, teacher, husband, supporter, and friend to all. You will be deeply missed. Love you Dad.
